Hazards of alcoholism; it's impact in society or family are much discussed. Euphoric effects of alcohol has its flip sides too. Besides health hazards, it destroys family bondage, abets crimes but despite of all these drinking habits are ever increasing in Indian society. Elite, educated middle class , till recent past kept themselves afar from this evil now cherish this habit. In fact for some it has become a status symbol!
