Abstract Science Construction’s business is in planning, developing and building road projects. The major of its clients are municipalities, city governments, and other public sector entities. While the bankruptcy rates for these clients is very low, when economic downturns happen, their ability to pay in a timely fashion also suffers. This leads to businesses such as Science Construction needing to take on additional debt and to find creative methods in order to stay afloat during times of recession. It is well accepted that knowledge and information have become new organizational resources and asset. Determination of the deep changes in the behavior of the individual teams and organizations, these assets has been used to reach sustainable standards of the development growth. Lopes I Martins M and Nunes M (2005)
The workplace keeping changing every day and most work environments are steadily pushing managers to revisit their skill sets decades ago if they are to survive in the knowledge economy era. Managers with an effective mindset need to embrace the following skills as a prerequisite for enhancing a successful organization or business.
Advertisement Approach
At the start of the prior decade, Google barely existed and well-known strategists dismissed Internet advertising models (Porter,2001). Managers have recognized the need to expand their communications efforts to incorporate all stakeholders, not only end-users. The marketing literature has begun to address stakeholder theory, as well as advertising's indirect and internal audiences with the aim to gain a larger market share.
Remote work (Working from home)
Managers need to abandon one-size-fits-all expectations for their employees. Instead of commuting to an office each day to work from a designated desk, remote employees can execute their projects and surpass their goals wherever they please. People have the flexibility to design their days so that their professional and personal lives can be experienced to their fullest potential and coexist peacefully. For instance, a working mother might ask to work remotely a few days each week in order to take care of her young children. Showing a genuine openness toward helping your team members balance their work and their lives demonstrates they have their best interests in mind. It can cultivate loyalty and keep lines of communication strong–both crucial things in an era of job hoping and remote collaboration. Barry S. Saltzman (2016)
Executive Presence
Executive presence is a relatively new leadership concept. This is associated with CXOs as well as their direct reports. Executive presence is more than charisma, it shows up in how mangers trust and are trusted, how leaders communicate, how leaders develop strategy, and how managers carry themselves under pressure. Managers must be willing to incorporate the recent styles of leadership in order to enhance effective collaboration in the workplace. Leslie Mizerak (2019) propounded that executive presence can be developed through thoughtful and actionable development.
Co-Creative Leadership
In today’s business environment where intellectual properties, creativity and innovation are real competitive advantage, the emphases on qualities of human interaction have never been greater. Managers must know how to co-create with their employees. They should engage their team members and ready to empower them and be in a position to create a change with them instead of for them. The trouble most managers faced is they do not take time to experience the growing pains associated with learning to collaborate. Co-creative leaders get engaged teams and better results are earned.
Encourage Diversity
Friedman & Amoo (2002) provide numerous reasons why companies that wish to thrive in our multicultural, managers have to be serious about handling diversity. Of course, the key reason is that it is immoral and often illegal to discriminate against people. Assert that there is a strong correlation between diversity and high-technology growth.
