Abstract Science Construction’s business is in planning, developing and building road projects. The major of its clients are municipalities, city governments, and other public sector entities. While the bankruptcy rates for these clients is very low, when economic downturns happen, their ability to pay in a timely fashion also suffers. This leads to businesses such as Science Construction needing to take on additional debt and to find creative methods in order to stay afloat during times of recession. Methods such as selling accounts receivables at discounted rates and taking larger lines of credit through banks and other lending institutions are some of the ways organizations can remain viable when their cash inflows have turned into a trickle. Science Construction is asking the Turkish Courts to postpone their bankruptcy proceedings for a year while they attempt to restructure. As per PEARSON(n.d), "Business process reengineering is the act of recreating a core business process with the goal of improving product output, quality, or reducing costs."
Become popular in the business world in the 1990s, we will say in general that its role is to analyze the workflow of a company, while looking for processes that have lost their performance or are simply inefficient then, to find ways of ameliorating them by modifying them, or of removing them.
Since it is not an easy task, process reengineering, it aims to fundamentally change all processes to create new ones, unlike the management or improvement of business processes, which aim to work with existing processes and processes and improve their mode of operation.
According to EDUCBA (2017)"Business Process Re-engineering is the radial designs of the business that help to experience dramatic improvements in the business cycle, quality, as well as productivity.....Particularly this system designs for the continuous process improvement, in general improvement is always essential to continue your position in the global economies even it is the most effective choices to fierce the global competition...In general re-engineering, is one of the necessary factors to improve, debug, improve as well as refine."
That being said, implementing process reengineering is not only risky but extremely tedious, expensive.
According to PEARSON (nd), the different steps to implement process reengineering are:
Step 1: Identity and Communicating the Need for Change
Step 2: Put Together a Team of Experts
Step 3: Find the Inefficient Processes and Define Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Step 4: Re-engineer the processes and Compare KPIs
According to Kissflow(2019) "Business Process Management is how a company creates, edits, and analyzes the predictable processes that make up the core of its business."
The role that Business Process Management plays in allowing a company to differentiate itself is a new way of approaching the company's activities, especially on the planning, documentation, implementation, and distribution of business processes while integrating with a significant way information technology and business intelligence.
As per Kissflow(2019), "Business Process Management systems can be categorized based on the purpose that they serve, and the three types of business process management are:
1) Integration-Centric BPM, handles processes that primarily jump between your existing systems (e.g. HRMS, CRM, ERP) without much human involvement. (Kissflow, 2019)
2) Human-Centric BPM is for those processes that are primarily executed by humans. (Kissflow, 2019)
3) Document-Centric BPM, it is required when a document (for example a contract or agreement) is at the heart of the process and enables routing, formatting, verifying, and getting the document signed as the tasks pass along the workflow. (Kissflow, 2019)
From the above explanation, we can not easily say which is the best ERP, because as Kissflow (2019) said, "Most business process management systems can incorporate elements of each of them. them, but everyone will usually have a specialty. "
So it's according to strategic needs that a company can choose which ERP to use in my opinion.
