The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is soliciting the member of public to suggest a name for their newly invented telescope. Currently they call it Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope (Glast), it is supposed to be launched in mid 2008. Nasa seems to have realized that the acronym-derived name is not most compelling.
