Improvement Project of Science Construction CS

Abstract Science Construction’s business is in planning, developing and building road projects. The major of its clients are municipalities, city governments, and other public sector entities. While the bankruptcy rates for these clients is very low, when economic downturns happen, their ability to pay in a timely fashion also suffers. This leads to businesses such as Science Construction needing to take on additional debt and to find creative methods in order to stay afloat during times of recession. Methods such as selling accounts receivables at discounted rates and taking larger lines of credit through banks and other lending institutions are some of the ways organizations can remain viable when their cash inflows have turned into a trickle. Science Construction is asking the Turkish Courts to postpone their bankruptcy proceedings for a year while they attempt to restructure. Through this, suggestions such as forcing shareholders to pay their debt to the organization, gaining credi

The American recession

The global slowdown in economical progression is understood to have been caused by American recession. Well, most of developing countries on this planet depend much on American economy. After all America is the biggest importer of goods and service. What caused American recession is a matter of great debate these days. Recently I found some interesting reports hitting the headlines of some leading dailies. While surfing the net I stumbled across a site worldpress.com where renowned economist Prieu Du Pleissis blamed four factors for this development. They sound the same what most of the experts diagnosed. First of all , the slowdown in US economy though drawing attention in recent months but it started in no less than six years ago. The wages in US is traditionally high. There a taxi driver earns about $250 per day. Where as in India they earn in terms of USD about $5-6 only! Here is the key for the reason why US heavily has to depend on outsourcing. To remain competitive, most of the

A true story

Here goes a story which has reference to Indian history during Mughal dynasty. Note, "Kulcha" .. is a hand made loaf, baked in manner to last for days and used to have tasty condiments within its thick and soft platter. This is not exactly a "funny" story. Nevertheless, it makes interesting reading because of a possible supernatural element in it. Perhaps this could be categorised under, "strange facts", but I am posting it here instead of starting a different thread for that. Before going out on an expedition to the Deccan, Mir Qamaruddin Khan, (a subehdar under Aurangzeb), visited the the sufi saint Nizam-ud-din Aulia to seek his blessings. The saint gave him "kulchas" to eat, and carry with him on his long journey to the south. When the subehdar was leaving Delhi, Hazrat Nizam-ud-din asked him whether he had eaten any of the kulchas given to him. Qamaruddin replied that he had in fact eaten seven of them and packed the rest for the journey. Pl

Think how it started

It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month, which we know today as the honeymoon. What a downer!!!! It was not at all about ummm u know what! It was all about the booze!!!

A JOKE FROM MY COLLECTIONS

A little boy was doing his math homework. He said to himself, 'Two plus five, the son of a bitch is seven. Three plus six, the son of a bitch is nine...' His mother heard what he was saying and gasped, 'What are you doing?' The little boy answered, 'I'm doing my math homework, Mom.' 'And this is how your teacher taught you to do it?' the mother asked. 'Yes,' he answered. Infuriated, the mother asked the teacher the next day, 'What are you teaching my son in math?' The teacher replied, 'Right now, we are learning addition.' The mother asked, 'And are you teaching them to say two plus two, the Son Of a bitch is four?' After the teacher stopped laughing, she answered, 'What I taught them Was, two plus two, THE SUM OF WHICH, is four.

My collected joke

A little girl asked her mother, "How did the human race come about?" The mother answered, "God made Adam and Eve and they had children and so all mankind was made." Two days later she asks her father the same question. The father answered, "Many years ago there were monkeys, and we developed from them." The confused girl returns to her mother and says: "Mom, how is it possible that you told me that the human race was created by God and Papa says we developed from monkeys?" The mother answers, "Well dear, it is very simple. I told you about the origin of my side of the family, and your father told you about his side."

The World Economy

Yesterday the oil price in the New York crude market touched all time high i.e $120 per barrel ! Though it came down by few cents within hours , but it is alarming. Following the cue the London crude price also spiraled high. Obviously the high crude price is going make you and me pay through our nose even for buying essentials. They blame OPEC, being inflexible to increase the production, the Nigerian crisis, the Iranian imbroglio and the devastated Iraq. Besides , there is no dearth of speculators to fish in troubled water, who are speculating on oil and making a hay day for themselves. These all are things to be contemplated and discussed by the national leaders and economic thinkers, but how about the common men? Who will be their messiah to save them? Is there any answer?

Give a new name

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is soliciting the member of public to suggest a name for their newly invented telescope. Currently they call it Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope (Glast), it is supposed to be launched in mid 2008. Nasa seems to have realized that the acronym-derived name is not most compelling. The offer is open till 31 st Mar 2008. If you are clicking with a ideal name then visit http://glast.sonoma.edu/glast-name and with the name give a statement of 25 words or less why your suggested name suits its` mission. “ We`re looking for name suggestions that will capture the excitement of the Glast mission and call attention to gamma-ray and high –energy astronomy. We are looking for something memorable to commemorate this spectacular new astronomy mission” – says Alan Stern, Associate Administrator for Science at Nasa headquarters in Washington and continues “ We hope someone will come up with a name that is catchy, easy to say and will hel

इन्देपेंसेंस DAY

The besic concept `We` the Indians` is yet to derive with it`s full consistency. During peace time the concept of `we Indians` is found only at the time of cricket matches otherwise while we are on war. It is a country sub-divided by various cultural, ethnic groups of people. Whoever rules the roost wherever is independent there; rest all of us are subjects of the system i.e independence of Indian Varity Our independence is a fall out of British as well as all the colonial power`s prolong engagement in two world wars. Local uprising of various forces with vested interests under the leadership of mostly ambitious and self interested leaders (most of them had feudal back grounds) added the momentum. Remember it is not only India, many other colonies is Asia and Africa became independent in post 2 nd world war era . Out of them , only Singapur has excelled far and it was possible for it`s small size and self less leader. Yes, you said rightly the socialistic attitude w

अत्रोसितिएस ऑफ़ प्राइवेट BANKERS

The disbursal and recovery of loans by private banks Here, in India the emerging economy, the consumerism have opened the floodgates of demands. Specially of consumer durables, real estates even foreign tours are undertaken while raising loans. Here comes with ready cash the private banks represented by their hirelings (read agents not the employees). Most of them with hardly loyalty to the bank, try to disburse the loan with scanty verification or no verification in a bid to earn commission. For this they enjoy the patronage of the bank officials sometime who are hard pressed to meet the target. A lot many bankrupts thus manage to take fresh loans suppressing their true credit worthiness. As a result the problem starts at the time of recovery. This happens mostly when the loan is disbursed to a man at least who really he is. He faces the music what may not be practicable in civilized world. Engaging goons in the guise of recovery agents is a common practice h

CHITTARANJAN IN 50s PT...4

Those days in early 60s at Chittaranjan was swayed with some activities, specially for we children. I do not know how many of you have heard the name of Swopon Buro, who established SOB PEYECHI R ASHORE; it was brought in by one Instructor of our Technical School. The person was very well natured, tolerant and obviously gentle man, his name was Mr Abani Ghosal (there are still his wards serving and staying at Chittaranjan). We all loved him so much and called him Master Mashai, his daughters and sons also with us and we all joined the SOB PEYECHI R ASHOR. Those days were truly golden days of Chittaranjan. The Ashore had all the activities mental, physical, cultural under it`s umbrella. Many young men joined Master Moshai in his pursuit. They trained us in games, cultural activities, music, songs even helped us with our school home tasks ! Can you imagin ever there was a club like that at Chittaranjan, where the number of participants were more than few hundreds. It continued for 3-5 ye

CHITTARANJAN IN 50S....................3

I am not sure which year Pandit Neheru visited Chittaranjan to mark the occasion of rolling out first electric locomotive. Either it was 1960 or 61. We all were taken to the small field, adjoining to the railway track, beside the GM Office. On the track the newly built Electric Locomotive remained static being garlanded all around, like the decorated car we usually find groom uses on the day of marriage. Nearby there was a stage. We could barely see our the then Prime Minister from a distant point , where our school was allotted space. I could hardly understand what he spoke. What fascinated me was the engine! Thereafter for quite some time I use to dream to become a engine driver in future ; In those events less days, truly it was a memorable day at Chittaranjan. The life was as simple as any of village in those days. The metal roads, the electricity, the schools, the hospital made the difference. Hardly anyone was having fans or radios. In summer it was quite common to sleep outside.

CHITTARANJAN IN 50s PT.........2

Hi, You all; last time I ended where I stepped out to my first school. Way back in 1958-59 the climate there was not what you find in recent past. The township was in the making, the greenery was offing. The rough and less green township was having a sort of extreme climate. May be with the greenery, later changed the climate turning it more comfortable. Usually in those days very few of us were using shoe or chapple; unless it was a special day like 26 th Jan or 15 th Aug or school sports day. Bare footed as usual we use to play at adjoining school ground, closed to the Srilata Institute. In winter, the school going business in the morning was really very disgusting. My father who used to go to the workshop by cycle usually offered me the lift. However our primary school was devoid of a game teacher or any other paraphernalia like foot ball, rackets or to name anything of that short. The Tiffin was provided free of cost and that was truly interesting. Usually it use
